In the weeks to come we will be talking about managing brands over time, so I thought I’d set the scene by showing the challenge faced by Denny’s Diner. The restaurant chain turned 60 this year, and the brand was suffering from neglect. Then came along Frances Allen as new Chief Marketing Officer.
