Chipotle’s Ethics: A Great Platform for Emotional Branding

Chipolte’s been known for its ethical sourcing  (more that most) or its ingredients since it opened, as well as the other liberal causes it espouses (e.g. against discrimination of gays in the Boy Scouts).

In the past couple of years, it has amped up the emotion with a series of animated films on YouTube. The latest took your classmate Tara Zimmerman by surprise and she shared it with me. Since it wouldn’t be social media if I didn’t pass it forward, here it is:

    The effort that Chipolte makes to emphasis corporate social responsibility and sustainable harvesting is refreshing and I am so glad to see the food chain popping up across the GTA. I think this is a dedicated effort to connect with consumers while promoting their brand qualities.
